Presence, the first series from ACME Consequential, will deliver an exceptional experience to audiences by creating original Ambient audio-visual compositions scored for surround sound, mixed in Dolby ATMOS in 4k resolution, and graded for HDR, enabling an enthralling cinematic immersion in one's own home. Through our curatorial and promotional expertise, we will co-produce works with the most talented musicians of the Ambient genre while extending its reach to new forms and new fans.  Made with impeccable craftsmanship from organic imagery and sound, it will deliver an elevated visual and auditory production. Few can provide this level of excellence and no one else is offering it.

​Each episode of Presence is a 60-minute visual abstraction, composed in-camera and shot in the real world by Visual Director, Frazer Bradshaw, to create a sense of movement and dimensionality in an ever-changing frame. Shifting evocations in fog, the dancing of light reflecting on water, the simple beauty of plant matter and other natural material, carefully lit, framed and captured in extreme slow motion. Nothing is computer-generated. Each is “analog” with an organic connection to the real. Immediate and visceral. Familiar, but abstract. The frames strike a balance: stillness and movement, rest and activity. The visual experience is both relatable and ethereal.

Each episode features an original score composed by Musical Director, Kent Sparling, or in collaboration with an established artist from the ambient musical genre. Music will be created with real-world instruments, but subjected to processes which transform their sounds into something new and unexpected, while non-instrumental sounds are incorporated in a way that allows them to become musical. Subtle elements of the mix, arrangement and tonalities will be tied to objects and movement on the screen, fully connecting visual and auditory senses into a single inspiring experience.

Presence offers audiences more than a passive viewing experience. Instead, it is an invitation to experience unfolding, ongoing paintings of light and sound that mingle and resonate with the atmosphere of their own homes and daily life. Presence provides viewers a new way to play with time. Slowly evolving, richly immersive compositions conducive to states of subtle attunement, relaxation, meditation, focus, creativity, and mindful awareness.
